WineUp Official Selection, noutatile editiei a II a

WineUp Official Selection means, as simple as it is, a list of the best wines presented by producers invited to participate in the WineUp Fair in Transylvania.

In the second year of its existence, the WineUP selection will receive new valencies this year. If in the first year our wish was to bring together: producers, specialists from the country and abroad, distributors, representatives of HoReCa, passionate, media and business partners, all interested in the quality of Romanian wines, this year we took the idea further we focused on obtaining international ratings to act as guarantors of the quality of Romanian wines internationally.

The best-known scoring grid is that of the 100 Parker points, the strongest reference in wine quality is given by the Wine Advocate classification. Why do we say all of this, because this year all wines that will fit in the GOLD judging score will be sent to Mr. MARK SQUIRES, the representative of Robert Parker, Wine Advocate, for an agreed collaboration.

Another high quality reference is the Christie's World Encyclopedia of Champagne and Sparkling Wines. ESSI AVELLAN MW prepares the next edition, so we will organize a special, separate tasting dedicated exclusively to Romanian sparkling wines, which we hope to convince in terms of quality and find them in this edition.

WineUp Official Selection becomes the benchmark of Romanian wines both nationally and internationally.
